ACA Plan InformationSanta Ana Unified offers this medical plan to eligible employees based on the Affordable Care Act's (ACA) regulations and guidelines.Eligible employees are determined by tracking the employee's average period hours worked during a "prescribed measurement period". Once an employee is determined to be eligible for this plan, the identified employee may enroll into this plan for themselves and their dependent children. Please be advised that your spouse or domestic partner are not eligible for coverage through this plan.
How to QualifyA qualified employee is a non-benefited, part-time employee and must work a minimum of 130 hours a month for a consecutive 12-month period from September 1st of the current school year to September 30th of the following school year ( for example: September 1, 2022 to September 31, 2023).
