• SAUSD Website Update
    The SAUSD Website is undergoing an extensive revision, which will be completed in preparation for the 2011-12 school year and will be launched between July 20-22.

    Key features that will be updated include:

    ·        District Homepage –  Establishment of a “frontward facing” webpage with easy-to-find resources and information for parents, students, community and partners

    o   Login for Parents to access Aeries student information

    o   Login for Staff to access District programs and resources

    o   Direct link to School Board resources

    o   Consolidated SAUSD Division and Department information

    o   Shortcut tabs for resources and information frequently used by parents, students, and the public

    o   Streamlined communication of banner events, news, District vision statement, superintendent’s message,  upcoming events
     
    ·        Parent Portal – Establishment of a portal where once parents login they can access Aeries student information. This content will not be accessible to the general public viewing the district website. 
     
    ·        Staff Portal – Establishment of a portal where once staff members login they can access all of the programs and resources they use to complete their work.  This content will not be accessible to the general public viewing the district website.
     
    ·        Enhanced School Website –  The new SAUSD website includes a revised design for school websites that parallels the features on the District homepage.
     

    ·        Enhanced Website Features –  All webpages, (whether those belonging to classroom teachers, schools, departments, programs, or the district homepage) will have increased functionality that will make the webpages not only easier to create but more engaging and user-friendly as well!
