  • Chromebook Information

We are encouraging all students in grades 4-8 to take advantage of the 1-to-1 Chromebooks provided in the classrooms. In order for the students to take the chromebooks home, they need to sign up for an insurance policy. We will be working with the PTA to collect the permission slips and insurance information. The cost for insurance coverage for the entire year is $21. Please drop by the office to ask about purchasing Chromebook insurance.

    Happy New Year Huskies!

We hope you had a wonderful holiday season and now it's time to get back to work! We will be soon starting our winter MAP testing and getting ready for the SBAC testing in the spring. We have a busy schedule in the days ahead and we look forward to working with all of you and supporting you in whatever way we can.

We have tutoring going on at many different grade levels and field trips coming up in many classes. The Esqueda Runstrong team will be running this weekend in the Southern California Half Marathon and 5K event. The middle school also has a host of events coming up with the Speech and Debate Tournament on January 20 and the Hockey/Volleyball Tournament on January 27. We hope you can all join us for the SAUSD School Choice Fair at Main Place on January 20. Miss Anderson and the theater students are preparing for the spring musical, "The Little Mermaid".

For parents we will begin our series of workshops on "Raising Highly Capable Kids" which will begin on Monday, January 22 at 8:15 in the MPR.

Please drop by the school and ask us how you can get involved in activities at the school.

    Kevin Tonai, Principal
