It is truly a pleasure to welcome you to Dr. Martin Luther King Elementary School for the 2019-2020 academic year! It is my sincere desire to uphold the wonderful traditions and lofty expectations our families, staff, and community has come to expect from King. The loving parental support you provide our scholars, coupled with our teachers’ tireless effort and exacting attention to instructional detail has made King a beacon of success state-wide. As we continue this journey together, many and diverse learning experiences will take place for our students. At King, we are committed to preparing all scholars to be successful and responsible global citizens who contribute and thrive in the 21^st Century.

We look forward to another fruitful year of partnering with all King families to provide each scholar with his/her optimal education.  Please take a few minutes to read through the beginning of the year information packet. You will find important details about the expectations of all students at King Elementary School.   Traffic around school 15 minutes before 8:00am can be very congested, please drive carefully and slowly around the school for the safety of all our students and families.  We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
