Honor Guard - Temper the Grief with Honor

 

The Santa Ana School Police Department Honor Guard was formed in October 2014.  All ceremonial guardsmen of the Honor Guard have the responsibility of representing the Department in varying ceremonies, funerals and special events.

 

Honor Guard members are entrusted to uphold the standards and reputation of the agency.  They must epitomize perfection in dress and appearance, customs and courtesies and drill ceremonies.  Members are responsible for ensuring that they, along with their fellow officers, are physically and mentally prepared to flawlessly execute the Santa Ana School Police Department Honor Guard's mission.
