    The District approved a school optimization plan that maximizes how we teach children in order to create stronger, thriving schools. Districtwide, other schools previously completed similar changes. 

    Two additional PreK-8 schools were created starting with the 2021-22 school year:

    Starting in August, 2021, Sierra Intermediate and Hoover Elementary were combined into one school community housed on the Sierra campus.

    Starting in August, 2021, Sepulveda and McFadden were combined into one school community housed on the McFadden campus.
