Celebrating Ongoing Investment in the Santa Ana Community

Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, essential facilities projects remain underway in SAUSD, as permitted by the State of California and in observance of social distancing requirements. Our Facilities Planning and Construction staff continue to make great progress on projects to transform learning environments and reinvest in our schools. 

Those working from home have enjoyed customizing their videoconferencing experience by adding custom backgrounds to Zoom or similar applications.  To share our recent and upcoming facilities progress with you, thank the community for their support of Measure I, and to celebrate ongoing investment to support the local Santa Ana economy throughout this challenging time, we have collected a set of images you can use as custom backgrounds.

To download one of our Zoom backgrounds, click on a file below to open the full-size image and then right-click on the image to save it to your computer.

Adding a Zoom Virtual Background:

• In your Zoom meeting
  • Select the arrow to the right of the Video button in the bottom left part of your screen
  • Select "Virtual background"
• In your overall settings
  1. Open your Zoom application
  2. Go to settings, then "virtual background"

1. Click the + button, and select your new background!
2. You may have to deselect "mirror my video"
