Creating a Family Tree in Paint

• Open a new paint template: Start -> Accessories -> Paint
• Click the Paintbrush tool to open the Brush Shape dialog.
• Choose the Diagonal brush from the Brush Shape dialog and click OK.
• Save. Call the file family tree.
• Use the Paintbrush Tool to draw the tree.
• Use the Text Tool to make the title Family Tree, your name and hour.
• Use the Rounded Rectangle Tool to Create boxes for family members and the text tool to type in them.
• If you have issues with paint: If you make a mistake with text, you must erase it and retype. If you want to change font and size, highlight text immediately after typing and before it is painted onto the background.
• Use the line and arrow buttons to connect the family member boxes
• Go to -> View and make sure there is a checkmark in front of text toolbar to modify your text.
• Add color, decorations and design to your Family Tree
