High School Diploma Eligibility - SB 172
On October 7, 2015, Governor Brown signed Senate Bill 172, which suspended the administration of the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) as a condition of receiving a diploma of graduation or a condition of graduation from high school.SB 172 provides for the granting of a diploma of graduation from high school to any pupil who completed grade 12 during the years in which the CAHSEE was in effect, and has met all applicable graduation requirements other than the passage of the high school exit examination (CAHSEE).
If you believe that you are eligible to receive the high school diploma under the new regulations, please click on the survey link below and complete the form.After your high school transcript is evaluated, and it is determined that you have fulfilled all graduation requirements, you will be notified and mailed the diploma to the address you provide.
