School Performance and Culture

The School Performance and Culture (SPC) Division, is one of three divisions within SAUSD Educational Services. It includes various departments, each of which holds a responsibility for supporting students, families, and staff to cultivate a safe, healthy, welcoming and affirming learning and working environment where all students thrive and become their best selves. SPC includes the following departments:
- Afterschool Programs (Engage 360/ASSETS),
- Charter Schools/ Grants,
- College and Career Readiness/Counseling,
- Pupil Support Services (support services such as Health, Mental Health, McKinney Vento, Foster Youth and Attendance)
- Research and Evaluation, and
- School Climate (PBIS, Restorative Practices, Student Discipline and WIN Saturday Recovery)
The Division of School Performance and Culture was developed to inspire and nurture the academic, social emotional and behavioral abilities within every SAUSD student. — one child, one parent and one school community. Our focus is to establish Santa Ana Unified as the premier institution of the finest academic, social emotional and behavior programs in the world while maintaining our uncompromising values and ethics to our students and families. By working collaboratively and with a common vision, the departments within the SPC Division are able to foster individual student needs while supporting the vision of the Santa Ana Unified School District and the community as a whole.
