School Performance and Culture

  • The School Performance and Culture (SPC) Division is one of three divisions within SAUSD Educational Services. It includes various departments, each of which holds a responsibility for supporting students, families, and staff to cultivate a safe, healthy, welcoming. and affirming learning and working environment where all students thrive and become their best selves.  SPC includes the following departments:

    • Expanded Learning (Engage 360/ASSETS)
    • Grants and LCAP
    • College and Career Readiness/Counseling
    • Support Services (support services such as Health, Mental Health, PBIS, Restorative Practices, Student Discipline, WIN Saturday Recovery, McKinney Vento, Foster Youth, and Attendance)
    • Research and Evaluation

The Division of School Performance and Culture was developed to inspire and nurture the academic, social-emotional and behavioral abilities within every SAUSD student — one child, one parent, and one school community.  Our focus is to establish Santa Ana Unified as the premier institution of the finest academic, social-emotional, and behavior programs in the world while maintaining our uncompromising values and ethics to our students and families.  By working collaboratively and with a common vision, the departments within the SPC Division are able to foster individual student needs while supporting the vision of the Santa Ana Unified School District and the community as a whole.
