Juniors Tutoring/Internship Program at Madison
Junior TEACH students tutor K – 6th graders at Madison Elementary School in Santa Ana, CA. Tutoring begins at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Tuesdays – Fridays. Students tutor the elementary students in primarily in Language Arts and Mathematics from 7:30 – 8:45 a.m. while also serving as an intern assisting a classroom teacher. Our tutoring program has helped raise standardized test scores at the elementary schools and our students create incredible bonds with their tutees that endure. Junior TEACH students earn approximately 120 hours of community service through this component of the TEACH Academy.
