Academy Orientation Day
Modeled after the popular T.V. series, “The Amazing Race,” academy underclassmen are teamed up with academy seniors for a day of competition and team building at Irvine Park. The teams create unique identities and then compete in over 15 different competitions as they race all over the park. This is an-all day affair which finds the students exhausted, sore, and worn out at the end. The day involves senior testimonials in which the seniors welcome the sophomores and implore them to take full advantage of the family of which they are now a part. It is a memorable event which the students will not soon forget.
