PRIORITY REGISTRATION PROCESSCOVID-19For students interested in attending Segerstrom High School for the academic school year 2020-2021, please email Segerstrom Registrar Salvador Lopez at salvador.lopez@sausd.us.RESIDENTSSegerstrom High School offers Priority Registration for students whose residence is in the Segerstrom High School attendance boundary. Eligible families, should they choose to enroll in a fundamental program and meet all registration deadlines, may pick up a priority enrollment packet from the Counseling Center during the designated enrollment period (usually held in January or February). In order to pick up a packet, a parent/guardian must show the Registrar documentation verifying their address.Address verification as evidenced by one of the following documents: utility bill, telephone bill (land line only), current mortgage/rental payment receipt, current property tax bill, current auto registration or insurance statement, current bank statement, last year's income tax form, or a signed Residency Declaration Letter completed by the primary resident/owner along with address verification in the same name as the person who signs the Residency Declaration form as proof that the student is a resident of the Santa Ana Unified School District (not the city but the school district). No other documentation will be accepted.Incomplete or improperly completed packets will not be processed and will be returned. If the deadline is missed, the student/parent must follow the Open Registration procedures (Lottery).PLEASE NOTE: All students claiming residency are subject to random residency checks by the Santa Ana Unified School District. Students whose residency claims do not check out will be immediately dropped by Segerstrom High School and transferred to a neighboring comprehensive high school.SIBLINGSIf a current 9th – 12th grade fundamental student has an 8th grade sibling, they will also be eligible for Priority Registration as a sibling. Eligible families, should they elect the fundamental program and meet the deadlines, may pick up a priority enrollment packet from the Counseling Center during the designated dates. The parent/student must return the fully completed registration packet by the designated due date. Incomplete or improperly completed packets will not be processed and will be returned. If the deadline is missed, the student/parent must follow the Open Registration procedures (Lottery Registration).
