The Budget Department oversees and manages the development, implementation, and monitoring of the District's annual operating budget of approximately $913 million in the general fund and $179 million in other funds.  In addition, the department provides cost studies and analysis, interim reporting, and oversees the development of multi-year projections of revenue and expenditures.
