• Advanced Placement (AP) is a CollegeBoard sponsored program that allows students the opportunity to experience college in a high school setting.  Segerstrom High School has over 15 AP courses available to students.  AP courses give you the knowledge and skills to help you at your college or university, you may also be able to earn some college credit by scoring well on the AP Exam(s).  Click here for this year's AP Exam Calendar.
     
    • College Factual allows you to check out colleges and rankings.  Read about your major, careers and average starting salaries, and what colleges the highest paying graduates attend.

     

    • College Majors 101 allows you to learn about college majors by: 
      • Exploring University profiles/videos on each subject (To see what you will ACTUALLY LEARN and DO while in College) 
      • Exploring Student/Professional Associations in each Major (To see the major at a much deeper level)
      • Reading Industry Publications (To understand the daily news of your Major) 
      • Links to Future Employers (To see the REAL professional nature of your major) 

    • College Navigator allows you to view information collected by the National Center for Education Statistics which collects, collates, analyzes, and reports complete statistics on the condition of American education.  Great website with accurate info.

     

     

    • Dramatic Magazine's online College Theatre Directory is a searchable database, freely available on the web that contains a wealth of information about more than 270 college theatre programs in the United States.  The directory provides information about admission requirements, application deadlines, audition schedules, merit scholarships, and complete contact information.

     

    • I'm First an online community celebrating first-generation college students and those who will be.  You can search for colleges that go out of their way to support first-generation students, find resources and hear students' stories.

     

    • Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) is a tuition program allowing eligible residents from a WICHE state to request a reduced WUE tuition rate of 150% of the resident rate at one of the 150 participating schools in the West. WICHE states include:  Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming.
