  • Commuter Benefits Program Overview
    The commuter benefit program offered by SAUSD will help you save money on your commuting costs along with the convenience of automated electronic fulfillment. Under this program, you can use tax-free dollars (subject to monthly limits) to pay for travel to and from work if you use public transportation or vanpools, or pay for parking. As a result, you can save up to 40% on commuting.

    • electronic loading of select Smart Cards
    How Does the Program Work?
    Using the My Commuter Check website, you will create an account and place orders for transit and/or parking. My Commuter Check will send SAUSD the proper amounts to be deducted from your paycheck.
    Note: When placing an order, if your transit provider is not listed, use the "To search for nearby providers that accept our products click here." link located under the SEARCH button.
    Important Information
    This is a monthly program; you will need to log-in and place an order by the 10th of each month to be effective the following month. For example, to receive an order for use in October, you must place your order by September 10.
    The maximum pretax limit is $130 for transit and $250 for parking. You can, however, order products that total more than the limit.
    No retroactive changes may be made.
    How to Register
    Select New User Sign Up
    To register, you will need the following information:
    Company ID (107765), First Name, Last Name and Zip Code
    All the above information must match SAUSD’s records; this information is used to authenticate you as a user in the system.
    If you have any trouble with the registration process, please contact Customer Support at 1-888-235-9223.
    Once you have entered the above information, you will be directed to another page where you are asked to enter your personal information, set a password and a user name.
