Students from Across SAUSD Participate in Inaugural Literary Arts Festival

Intermediate and high school students from across the Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD) gathered on February 6, 2019 at Santa Ana High School to compete in the District’s first Annual Literary Arts Festival.

The finalists presented their medium of choice - poetry, prose or media - in front of an enthusiastic audience made up of Board of Education members, Superintendent Dr. Stefanie Phillips, District leadership, parents, students, community members and other supporters.

The winners will also have the opportunity to ‬showcase their work at the “Boca de Oro Art and Literature Fringe Festival” ‪- which also includes the District’s “Almas Sonadoras: Youth Elevating the Arts” event - on Saturday, March 2, 2019‬ in Downtown Santa Ana.
