Important Announcement: Supplemental Employee Retirement Plan (SERP) for 2024/2025

Dear SAEA members,

We are pleased to announce that tonight, the Board of Education approved the Supplemental Employee Retirement Plan (SERP) for SAEA certificated non-management employees for the 2024/2025 school year. This plan will be administered by Keenan Administrative Services and offers eligible employees a valuable opportunity for early retirement with enhanced financial benefits.

  • Plan Specifics: The attachment outlines the comprehensive details of the SERP, including benefit calculations and payment structures.
  • Sign-up for Information Sessions: We encourage you to sign up for the general information sessions to learn more about the plan, as well as individual counseling sessions for personalized assistance in evaluating your options.

Important Deadline:
If you choose to participate, please be aware that the following documents must be submitted to the District Office by December 6, 2024:

  1. Completed SERP Enrollment Package
  2. Letter of Resignation
  3. Irrevocable Letter of SERP Participation
