Students from Six SAUSD Intermediate Schools Participate in 2022 Appjamboree Showcase
Students from six SAUSD intermediate schools came together this week to showcase the mobile game applications they recently created through the AppJam+ program.
For 10 weeks, Engaged 360 students from these schools worked with Dreams for Schools and mentors from UC Irvine to learn how to code their own game apps.
They showed these apps to family, friends, teachers and industry professionals during the Appjamboree Showcase held May 18, 2022 at Santa Ana High School.

Showcase winners included:
1st Place: Sierra Preparatory – The Adventures of Bunnyman and Pickles
2nd Place: Romero-Cruz Academy – Team Mars
3rd Place: Romero-Cruz Academy – Team Woody
4th Place: Willard Intermediate – Gamer Team
Best Stage Presentation: Lathrop Intermediate – Space Cadets
Best Poster: Sierra Preparatory – The Adventures of Bunnyman and Pickles
