Sara Shorey Marin Selected Association of California School Administrators Region 17 Principal of the Year

Sara Shorey Marin, principal at SAUSD’s Adams Elementary School, was honored May 9, 2022 by the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) Region 17 as the Elementary Principal of the Year!

Each year, ACSA recognizes inspirational, educational leaders for their significant contributions to education and who rise to meet the diverse needs of their students and communities.

Shorey Marin was selected for her ability to build community, and create a schoolwide culture where all students are supported and welcomed.
