35 Santa Ana Unified School District Schools Receive Statewide Honors for Outstanding Service to the Community During COVID-19
Thirty-five Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD) schools have been recognized with the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Community Cares award by the California PBIS Coalition.
They are: Lincoln, Advanced Learning Academy, Harvey, Carr, Chavez, King, Edison, Fremont, Greenville Fundamental, Godinez Fundamental, HeroeS, Garfield, Lowell, Thorpe Fundamental, Adams, Kennedy, Lathrop, Lorin Griset Academy, Madison, Esqueda, Heninger, McFadden, Monroe, Monte Vista, Pio Pico, Romero-Cruz Academy, Santa Ana, Segerstrom, Jefferson, Valley, Villa Fundamental, Davis, Washington, Willard, and Wilson.
The schools received the distinction for their outstanding contribution of support and care during the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting disruptions. Their efforts to provide support to their students, families, and communities during these challenging times did not go unnoticed.
