Dear SAUSD Community,
Thank you for your continued support of our efforts in ensuring that our students remain safe and healthy. We continue to be vigilant in protecting our students and monitoring any risk of Coronavirus in our school community.
SAUSD continues to uphold guidelines set forth by the Centers of Disease Control, California Department of Public Health, and the Health Care Agency of Orange County, and information has been made available to our students, staff and families to ensure that we are aligned in our safeguard practices.
At this time, schools throughout Orange County have been advised not to have school closures since our school campus’ are considered safe at this time.
As a reminder, please see our website for more updated information, and attend one of our many information sessions offered throughout the district in the next couple of weeks.
Past sessions have helped to clarify information and are intended to further discuss our district’s recommendations and procedures in addressing Coronavirus and other health issues.
For more information or questions, please contact Sommer Pedroza, RN, Program Specialist at 714-433-3462.
Respectfully,
Jerry Almendarez
Superintendent of Schools
