The function of the Office of Community Relations is to work collaboratively with stakeholder groups including local businesses, community organizations, parent groups, other SAUSD departments, and school sites to establish and leverage mutually beneficial relationships. Through the Office of Community Relations, the District is able to engage with our community to promote and in support of the District’s vision and mission to work collaboratively and comprehensively with our community to strengthen our students learning environment and outcomes. Having a voice in the community requires active on-going engagement; establishing, developing, fostering and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders and leveraging those relationships in benefit of our students and community at-large.
