  • Varsity Wins CIF Match!

    Century Wins

    Congratulations to the Varsity Girls for going to Pasadena to battle against La Salle. The match was close throughout, and ended in a 9-9 set tie, but the Centirouns won on games 75-57, bringing home the first CIF Playoff match win in School History!

    Congratulations to our very own Lucero Villanueva for being selected as Century's Most Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year! The honor was presented to Lucero at the school wide Renissance Assembly this last Friday, May 25, 2012. She has worked so hard and is an extrodarnary example of the hard work and dedication our girls exhibit on a daily basis on and off the courts. Great Job and good luck next year at UCLA!

    Girls Tennis has been blessed with an inordinate amount of talented students on the court and in the classroom. This passed Friday, May 25, 2012, THREE Century Girls Tennis players were named Most Outstanding Students of the Year, based on their grade.  Freshman Aileen Navarrete (not pictured), Junior Stephanie Rivera, and Senior Lucero Villanueava were all honored at the school wide Renaissance assembly. It is an amazing accomplishment for all and shows what great student athletes we have on our team! Great Job Girls, we are all proud of you!
