Ms. Arias

About Me

Hello! My name is Kassandra Arias, and I'm excited to be a part of the Segerstrom staff! This is my third year teaching, and I love getting students engaged with books and writing. Language is a powerful tool that I will pass on to my students with hopes they are inspired to continue cultivating new mindsets and the skills to make effective changes in the world.  In our classroom, inclusivity is at the heart of our learning environment. I believe that diversity is our strength, and I am committed to creating a space where everyone feels valued, respected, and heard. Throughout the year, we will not only delve into the world of literature and language but also explore the rich tapestry of human experiences. One of the key aspects of our curriculum will be the exploration of Ethnic Studies, an essential field that helps us better understand the diverse cultures, histories, and perspectives that shape our world. We'll engage in thoughtful discussions and explore a wide range of texts and authors from various backgrounds to broaden our horizons and foster empathy.

I enjoy reading, concerts, art projects, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family.

I'm here to support your growth as both students and individuals, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you ever need guidance or have any questions. Let's make this a year of learning, understanding, and celebrating our shared journey.
