Teacher Biography

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature and Spanish literature from U.C. Irvine in 1998, and a teaching credential from U.C. Irvine in 1999. That year, I began my teaching career at S.A.U.S.D. as an English teacher at Saddleback High School. I continued to teach English for eleven years until I transitioned to Spanish. In 2016, I earned my Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Concordia University.

This school year marks my twenty-seventh year as a high school teacher.  I look forward to teaching ELD A, English 1 & 2 and third year Spanish to non-native students. I am also the enthusiastic Red Cross advisor.
