    JOB DESCRIPTION

This year, rather than being a student in a traditional classroom with desks in a row and a teacher standing in the front talking to the class, you will be participating in English 10 as a collaborative partner with your surrounding classmates. In this rigorous course, you are responsible for mastering the English 10 content in the areas of reading, writing, and speaking and listening in public. You will demonstrate your mastery in these areas by working throughout the entire year to create a Portfolio Assessment, or special book entitled (Your Name): Before and After. This book will be an online portfolio of all major and some minor assignments completed throughout the school year. At the end of the year, you must present this large piece of work in order to have a chance to receive a passing grade. This is your job for the entire year.

    TEXTS
