Mr. Raul Garcia

Raul Garcia is in his 25th year of teaching in the SAUSD, and is the instrumental music director at Segerstrom High School.  Prior to opening Segerstrom High School, Mr. Garcia was the Band Director at Saddleback High School.  Mr. Garcia received his Bachelor’s Degree from California State University, Fullerton and his Master’s Degree in Music Education from Kent State University.  Mr Garcia is a French horn player and has performed throughout the United States, Canada, and Japan in various ensemble settings.  In his performing and learning endeavors Mr. Garcia has had the opportunity to work with some notable musicians and educators such as Keith Bryon, Eugene Corporon, Mitchell Fennel, Ralph Hultgren, Robert W. Smith, and Frank Ticheli
