Below are resources for our unit on biochemistry.  Some of them I shared with you in class already, some are new.  Enjoy!!
    The Power of Ten
This is the video we watched in class, to better understand the scale of molecules and atoms.

Biological Molecules - You Are What You Eat: Crash Course Biology #3

Enzymes are a particular type of biochemical, made of proteins.
Lew-Port has a great web site with a series of animations that describe what enzymes are, how they work, and how they can denatured so they do not work at all.  http://lpscience.fatcow.com/jwanamaker/animations/Enzyme%20activity.html
A British web site also explains how enzymes work with a series of simple animations, and at the bottom of the page has a GREAT simulator that you can use to experiment with differences in pH, substrate concentrations, enzyme concentrations, and temperature.  http://www.kscience.co.uk/animations/anim_2.htm
