Mr. Mazur
Hi, I’m Mr. Mazur! I’m an Education Specialist at Godinez Fundamental High School, where I have the privilege of working with students with mild and moderate disabilities. My goal is to support my students in discovering their strengths, building their confidence, and becoming advocates for themselves.
Before becoming a teacher, I had an incredible journey as a collegiate and professional basketball player. I played at the University of Detroit and continued my career overseas in countries like Spain, Poland, Portugal, Lithuania, Chile, Syria, and more. Traveling the world through basketball deepened my appreciation for different cultures and perspectives, which I now bring into my classroom.
Everyone has unique talents, and I’m passionate about creating an inclusive environment where all students can thrive. I want to help them develop their skills and independence to succeed beyond high school.
When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll probably find me spending time with my family, cheering on the Detroit Lions, or getting hooked on a good TV series.
I look forward to a great year and can’t wait to see my students grow and achieve amazing things!
