Algebra II Course Description

Algebra II is a course that extends the content of Algebra I and provides further development of the concept of a function.  Topics include: (1) relations, functions, equations and inequalities; (2) quadratics and polynomials; (3) logarithmic and exponential functions; (4) radical and rational expressions (5) function review ; (6) Trigonometry. 

• Prerequisite:  Passing Grade in Algebra I and Geometry

• Year long course

• A-G requirement

Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) is a program designed to support students in their high school courses, provide pertinent college information, to gain acceptance into a 4-year College/ University, and to prepare students so they are academically and mentally ready for college.
