Orchestra
Orchestra is for students interested in developing their musical skills through the study and performance of a diverse range of music for stringed instruments. Throughout the course, students will learn fundamental concepts of music theory, notation, and ensemble performance, as well as techniques for developing their individual and group musicianship.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in festivals, concerts, further developing their skills as musicians and performers. Additionally, students will explore college music departments, rehearse with college professors, and perform music with professional musicians.
**All skill levels are accepted. **

Violin, Viola, Cello, and Bass
Honor Orchestra
4th period Orchestra is double-rostered with Honor Orchestra. The honors level is tailored for students who have more experience playing their instrument OR would like to take on a more challenging workload. Weekly practice logs, scales, etudes, and more performances are scheduled regularly for Honor Orchestra. Students are able to join through the recommendation of Mr. Ramirez to their designated counselor.
