• Atlas Program Mission Statement

The mission of the Atlas Program at Godinez Fundamental High School is to provide a safe, supportive environment with clear, consistent expectations and high academic standards. Building strong relationships with our students is one of the most important aspects of the Atlas Program. We feel that strong relationships with our students allow us to accomplish so many of their behavioral goals.

The teachers within the Atlas Program believe students can't reach their full potential in school unless we encouragingly invite them to do so. The Atlas Program is based on Positive Reinforcement Strategies which means providing consequences immediately after a behavior to increase the likelihood that the behavior will occur again in the future.
