        The Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA) is located at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. It displays art from its permanent collection as well as traveling exhibitions.

      • The Getty Museum and the Getty Villa (The Getty)

        The Getty is a vast cultural resource made up of two museums, a research institute, and observation Institute. Located in Los Angeles and surrounded by an amazing garden, it is free to visit. It holds a vast collection of different kinds of art from all times and places.

        The Watts Towers were built by Simon Rodia, an immigrant from Italy, in Watts, Los Angeles. He independently created huge, fanciful towers made of cement, steel, and decorated with found objects including bits of ceramic tile, shells, and broken glass. His extrordinary folk art is cherished by the world.
