Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Alondra Jacobo-Chavez

Ms. Jacobo was raised in Santa Ana and is a product of the Santa Ana Unified School District. Her parents immigrated from Mexico to the United States in the pursuit of the American Dream. In her home, Spanish was the only language that was spoken. Although her parents did not have the opportunity to get educated, they taught her the value of education. After graduating from Godinez Fundamental High School, Ms. Jacobo continued her education and pursued her passion for art and teaching. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Art Education and her Single Subject Teaching Credential in Art at Cal State Long Beach University. It was a dream come true for Ms. Jacobo to begin her journey teaching at her Alma Mater and help mentor the youth. She believes the Arts serve as a vehicle for creativity, exploration, community building, and life-long learning. In short, Ms. Jacobo would love to see her community thrive!
