CREDIT RECOVERY OPTIONS OVERVIEW

Godinez Fundamental  High School recognizes the need to assist students at risk of not meeting the SAUSD graduation requirements.  Our efforts include a language arts support course for identified ninth graders, a fundamental structure system requiring completion of assignments and mandatory/voluntary tutoring programs.  Additionally, Godinez Fundamental  High School counselors proactively assist students at risk by emphasizing strategies for academic success.

Although our goal is to have all students successfully pass coursework in their first attempt, we understand a need for  opportunities and programs to recover lost credit, subject requirements or California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) deficiencies. 

The Counseling Department strongly encourages current, or former, Grizzlies in need of credit recovery to investigate the options found on this website and set up an appointment with a counselor for the most up to date information and opportunities.
