Ms. Andrea Albarran

Hello!

 I'm Ms. Albarran or, as most students know me, Ms. A. I am excited about starting my fourth year as a moderate-severe autism-specific teacher at Godinez. Before I taught special education, I was an instructional assistant working with students with emotional disturbances. I also served as a student support paraprofessional within the same school district and school site. I have had the privilege of working with some amazing teachers, staff, and administrators! Godinez staff holds the bar high when it comes to academics and the overall care of their students. I received my BA in History, Extensive Support Needs teaching credential, and an MS in Special Education from California State University, Long Beach. Although my initial plan was to teach history, my heart belongs to special education. My passion for teaching students with disabilities stems from my children, who are in special education. Special education will always hold a special place in my heart.
