Each middle school in the SAUSD has a Saturday School/WIN Program. The goal of the program is to help students recover their attendance if they have missed days of school OR are not performing successfully academically.

The curriculum includes time for Reading Counts, skills practice, homework help, etc. A tentative schedule of the day's activities is as follows:

8:00–8:15 a.m.: Check in and head to the classroom

8:15–8:45 a.m.: Reading Counts (quiet reading time)

8:45–9:00 a.m.: Reading notes, activities

9:00–10:00 a.m.: Skills lesson

10:00–10:30 a.m.: Nutrition break (food will be provided)

10:30–11:30 a.m.: Study Hall, time to make up missing assignments

11:30–12:15 a.m.: Fun/Enrichment activity

12:15–12:30 p.m.: Dismissal *NOTE: All students MUST be picked up by 12:30 p.m.
