Did you know that the vast majority of people do not pronounce 'Seuss; correctly? That's right! In fact, a poem was made up by Alexander Liang, a fellow student at Dartmouth, where Ted Geisel went to college, to help with the pronunciation. Ted was the editor-in-chief of the college's humorous newspaper called the Jack-o-Lantern and Liang was a fellow writer. Liang's poem will explain just how to really pronounce the name of one of our beloved authors…
You're wrong as the deuce
and you shouldn't rejoice
If you're calling him Seuss
He pronounces it Soice.
