Theme of the week: Tide Pool Animals

Change of plan! We have a short week this week and we had a last minute field trip added to our schedule. The Marine Touch Tank Lab from Concordia University Irvine will be hosting a field trip on Wednesday. They will show you different animals that you would see in a tide pool. Math: Five Little Seashells Math Craft: For this activity you can replace the shells with any tide pool animals (sea urchin, starfish, sand dollar, hermit crab, etc.) Use it as a way to practice addition and subtraction… “4 little seashells sitting in the sand.
