PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Welcome to Santiago TK-8 Elementary School
Home of the Turtles
Mrs. Kimberly Ahvari, School Principal
Welcome Back Santiago Turtles and Families,
I hope this message finds you well and enjoying the final days of summer break. As we prepare to embark on another exciting school year, I am thrilled to share with you our school-wide theme for the year: “Every Day Counts!”
Our theme underscores the importance of daily engagement and attendance in each student's journey toward success. We believe that every day spent in school is a valuable opportunity for learning and growth, and we're committed to making each day count for your child.
Math Instruction: This year, we will place a strong emphasis on enhancing our math instruction. We recognize the critical role that math plays in a student’s academic development and future opportunities. Our dedicated teachers are committed to using innovative and effective strategies to make math engaging and accessible for every student. We encourage you to support your child’s learning at home by reinforcing these concepts and showing enthusiasm for their progress.
Attendance: Regular attendance is vital for academic achievement. We are working diligently to foster a positive and motivating environment that encourages students to attend school consistently. Each day in the classroom is an opportunity for learning and growth, and we want every student to experience the full benefits of their education. We ask for your support in ensuring your child attends school regularly and arrives on time.
Welcoming Atmosphere: Ensuring that every student feels welcome and valued on campus is a top priority for us. We are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where all students feel a sense of belonging. Our staff is dedicated to building strong relationships with each student and their family, and we encourage open communication to address any concerns or needs that may arise.
As we start this new school year, let’s work together to make EVERY DAY COUNT! Your partnership is crucial in supporting your child’s educational journey. We look forward to collaborating with you to make this year a remarkable one for all our students.
In gratitude,
Mrs. Kim Ahvari
