Professional Information: This year I will be starting my 22nd year of teaching in the district of Santa Ana. Aside from first grade, I have taught 2nd grade, 4th, 5th, and 7th. Right before coming to Santiago, I had the exciting opportunity to be a district trainer for several schools across the district training teachers on new state standards and teaching strategies. I am G.A.T.E trained and have taught students at different grade levels how to think critically and apply concepts of depth and complexity across all subject areas.

 

Personal Information: I am married and have two wonderful children, Matthew and Natalee. My oldest is a senior in high school. My youngest will be starting high school this year. I love sports (go Angels!), hiking, and vacationing with my family. I am involved with our school's VAPA program and absolutely love it!
