• I was born and raised in Santa Ana, California. After graduating from Saddleback High School I attended Orange Coast College and transfered to California State University Long Beach. I graduated from CSULB in 2001 with a B.A. in International Studies, emphasis in Latin America. In 2002 I returned to CSULB for a teaching credential in social science and completed a MA in Education in 2012.
I have been teaching in the district since 2001. I began as a substitute teacher and after receiving my teaching credential in 2004 I was hired as a social studies teacher at Century High School. In 2009 I joined the staff at Godinez Fundamental High School. I currently teach American Government (12th grade) and World Regional Geography (9th).
