The Goal of the Distinguished Grizzly Academy is to provide rigor and support to enable students to be competitive and give them academic options as they progress through high school. The program fosters a safe, open culture with high expectations for teachers and students.

The Distinguished Grizzly Academy comprised of cohorts in grades 9-12, with over 100 students total in the academy, who will follow the most rigorous college preparatory pathway in SAUSD on a comprehensive high school campus. Successful graduates will have completed several Advanced Placement (AP) courses, and through our partnership with Santa Ana Community College’s (SACC) Dual Enrollment program, will have earned college credits, which are transferable to all U.C. and California State Universities.
