About Me

My name is Mr. Parreco, and I teach 7th Grade ELA at Lathrop Intermediate School.  This is my 11th year as a public school teacher. I started my teaching career right down the street at Cesar Chavez High School here in Santa Ana in 2014. I absolutely love teaching, and I know that this is going to be a fun and rewarding year.  Although my class is challenging, it is also engaging. I hold all of my students to a high academic standard, but that is because I truly believe that all students have tremendous potential, and I want to help them realize that potential.  Building strong, positive relationships with my students is what makes teaching such an awesome career.
