STEAM Challenge: Paper Cylinder Flier
This website might be helpful in making your flierJ https://www.instructables.com/id/The-Incredible-Flying-Paper-Tube/
Ask: Hansel and Gretel are lost and need help. They need to send a message to their father to help them find their way home. How can you create a cylinder flier out of one sheet of paper and tape that can travel at least 10 feet?
Imagine: Think of what would make your flier go the furthest distance.
Plan: Draw/sketch what your cylinder flier will look like.
Create: Make it! Don’t forget to color/decorate your paperJ!
Test: Throw your flier and see if it goes 10 feet? 20 feet?
Redesign: If it did not work can you try again? Why do you think it did not work? If it did work, can you make it even better?
Present: Send me a picture or a video and share with me how it went.
