Course Description:
- In the Hospital Occupations course students review the essential knowledge and skills that they mastered in Medical Core I & II and then expand and focus these for application within the Hospital environment.
Content topics include:- Patient Care Skills, Safety and Emergency Procedures, Ethics, and Job Specific Skills for specialized Hospital Departments. Students will be required to serve an internship at a community site, where they will receive training that prepares them to work with patients and support staff within various hospital departments. A cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) card, physical examination, tuberculin test and other inoculations/vaccinations are required for placement at a hospital.
