SAUSD Schools’ Choice Fair
Parents, students and community members from Santa Ana interacted with a range of exciting STEM activities at the Career Technical Education (CTE) exhibit during the 2016 SAUSD Schools’ Choice Fair. The exhibit included 3D printing, CNC manufacturing as well as an interactive station on green energy. Visitors were engaged with remote controlled vex robots that are part of CTE’s Project Lead The Way (PLTW) programs, which helps develop engineering skills at all levels from elementary to high school. There was also a station with a MaKey MaKey, a simple microprocessor where visitors could use bananas to interact with a computer. CTE exhibits included an interactive digital media booth, to showcase the strong digital media and arts program that is part of all SAUSD High Schools.
