On rainy days, students eat and have activities inside the classrooms during lunchtime.  On windy days, students may eat in the classroom and have a lunch recess outside.
To ensure the safety of your children and to keep them as dry as possible on rainy days, please adhere to the following recommendations and procedures:
    1. Be sure children wear appropriate clothing in all inclement weather.
    2. Only children wearing rain gear (not hooded sweatshirts) and/or having umbrellas, will be dismissed from the classroom to wait in front of the school for their rides.
    3. Children without protective rain gear will be sent to the MPR.  Parents will need to park their cars and walk up to the MPR to pick up their child.
    4. Allow extra time for the additional traffic in front of the school on rainy days.  Park in the parking spaces or on the street, but not along the curb in the parking lot or the school side of the street, if you need to leave your car to go to the classrooms to pick up students.
