Students may not take medication at school without a signed doctor's order and signed parent consent.  If your child requires medication at school, please obtain the necessary form in the school nurse's office.  Medication must be in the original pharmacy bottle, properly labeled by the pharmacist.  It will be kept in the nurses's office to be administered to the student by school personnel.  The medication must be brought to school by the parent.  This procedure applies to prescription and non-prescription drugs (even aspirin).

If your child has any special medical condition (diabetes, asthma, allergies, etc.) it is very important that both the nurse's office and teacher are notified.  Be sure this information is kept current each year.
